Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia was born on September 9, 1967 in Amritsar. In case you are wondering who this guy is, then I better tell you that Bollywood is not your cup of tea. The person in concern is none other than Akshay Kumar, fondly known as Akki. He was born and brought up in a Punjabi family with his father working in the Government sector.
As like his film from “Chandni Chowk to China“, he was indeed raised in the Chandni Chowk area of Delhi. From his childhood itself, he excelled in performing arts, especially in dancing. He studied in Don Bosco School in Mumbai, and for higher education he went to Khalsa College.
Then came his life in Bangkok, where he worked as a chef and also took an interest in martial arts. After learning the art, he returned back to Mumbai, and started teaching martial arts.
Seeing his good looks, one of his students offered him a modeling assignment. After spending two months in the modeling industry, he got an offer by producer Pramod Chakravarthy for Deedar.
